THE CTP THEORY

"THE PERFECT LOOK IS SIMPLE TO CONSTRUCT WITH THREE KEY ELEMENTS:
COLOR : TEXTURE : PATTERN"

...

After a number years of concentrated interested in fashion + lifestyle design, Kels + Emma realized that the key to the perfect look is actually found in simplicity with detail rather than obscure complexity. The theory they created became
The Color : Texture : Pattern Theory.

...

Simply put, The CTP Theory means this: when creating an outfit three key elementars are needed to generate interest, balance + just the right amount of style:

1. Color - If you want to go bold, go bold. If you want to stay neutral, stay neutral. The key here is to pick one color that is captivating and sets a canvas for the outfit. Whether it's the perfect chartreuse cardigan or a simple white blouse, set the tone with color.

2. Texture - Create interest with something that has an intriguing look to it. Whether it's a chunky cardigan with great woven detail, a textured skirt, or a fabulous blouse with ruffles, texture is essential for a styled look.

3. Pattern - This element seals the deal and shows off your personality. From polka dots to chevron, stripes to floral, pattern creates movement and playfulness. Your patterned piece doesn't have to perfectly match your chosen color, but rather go with the palette you are working with.

...

By observing these three key elements when creating an outfit, you are guaranteed to generate style + detail while still keeping true to your taste.
