For those of you who don't know, Camille Styles is dedicated to bringing creativity, inspiration and stress-free style to their readers around the globe.  We are huge fans of the Camille Styles team's notable work (hint, hint: just take a look at our 'notable sites' side bar), as well as, the sizzlin' season of summer!  So it only seemed perfect that Camille herself was just as head over heels with summer as we were!  When asking Camille what she loved most about this time of year, it was clear to us, she knew exactly how to live a summer of style!  "Since my entire entertaining philosophy centers around creative, stress-free planning, summer is my very favorite time of year! Throw on an easy dress, go barefoot, gather bunches of herbs from the garden for a table centerpiece, and invite friends to hang out by the grill and pitch in with the cooking" said Camille. Let's just say we are inspired by Camille's chic + unique interpretation of entertaining, to say the least.  "Summer's all about simplicity - planning a menu around the abundant seasonal produce at the farmers market, pouring chilled glasses of prosecco and embracing the longer nights. I love everything about it!"  Wow, who knew taking on the simplistic side of  summer entertaining could be so fresh?  As it just so happens, we forgot to ask Camille when and where this fiesta is happening - we're dying to attend! ;) 

As followers of the Camille Styles site, we were thrilled at the opportunity to have learned more about Camille's summer style + how she gets to work with such a fun, creative team! "They (her team) never fail to inspire me! Life is too short to not be having fun every day, and collaborating with creative people who I love hanging out with makes work a blast" Camille tells us. Just check out their adorably creative 'see us in action' team video, it screams fabulous!  Oh, and how could we forget ... Not only is Camille wonderfully fashionable in all aspects of life, but did we mention she has a baby on the way?  "Since I'm 7 months pregnant, I'm definitely embracing the maxi dress this season. Add a pair of flat sandals, great necklace and my Celine tote and I'm out the door," Camille says when asked about her go-to summer outfit.  Talk about a lady who can do it all ... in a note worthy, mommy-to-be fashion!

This, my peoples, can only mean one thing:  it's time to self consciously confidently get our tukuses into an itsy bitsy teenie weenie (hold the yellow polka dot) bikini for the beach days ahead! Thank sunny heavens, the suiting options are endless + offered in a variety of shapes, colors, textures + patterns.  Oh! And prices. Prices, pricey, prices. While achieving  some online bikini shopping research, we couldn't help but feel the lessening in our bank accounts.  By golly, Miss Molly, how pricey teenie weenie suits can be! Life's hard when you got Miu Miu Floral-appliqué triangle bikini taste on a beach babe budget.  What?  It's true! Our self control can only rear its frugal head for so long.  So with all this jibber being jabbered, we have honed in on our favorite summer suits, that for shore won't leave a serious splash in our wallets.  Did ya catch the pun? Did ya?! We knew you would . . .

When denim vests are so hot right now.

In the wise words of LL Cool J, don't call it a comeback.  They've been here for years.
Whether they're bejeweled or dip-dyed, denim vests have arrived since the last time they re-arrived and then re-re-arrived after that one time they arrived.  You catch our drift?  Anywho, we've been stuck in a denim daze ever since we laid eyes on a number of adorably denimesque ensembles.  And it got us thinking, why haven't we thought outside of the box when it comes to denim?  As of late we have taken notice to the versatility of the wonderful world of denim (we ain't just talkin' vests) + all it has to offer.  Denim isn't always rocker-chic.  Per example, the notable following ... 

DENIM GONE GLAM

A tough look to pull off, especially at the Met Gala, but this style maven does it oh-so well! Jenna Lyons, can do no wrong in our notes. This look has done denim good, too good.

CASUALLY DENIM

We love the idea of pairing the denim vest with a classic dress or even a long billowy skirt (see: Jessica Alba below).  

A dress or any feminine piece, for that matter, adds flirtation to such a 'rough around the edges' staple.

CLASSIC WHITE

A DELIGHT IN WHITE

Perhaps it's because Memorial Day is quickly approaching + us thrill seeking junkies are looking to rebel against some silly "rule" dubbing no white prior to what we're dubbing 'Mem-Day.'  Or, maybe it's because wedding season is in the air.  Both options sound awfully plausible, so we aren't quite sure which one is amusing our notable relish. However, through this babbling of ours, we've come to a conclusion ... dun, dun, dun!  The conclusion goes as follows: The combination of hearing bells + seeking thrills has got us in a state of white on white mania + we are head over heels for every second of it.  Ah, living life on the edge can be SO monochromatic-achromatic-chic. Yes, that's a thing now, especially during wedding season! First + foremost, we have a small hunch that if Cindy-relly was cast sporting the below boots slippers, 
she wouldn't have been running around town wearing only one shoe.  What a noob.
  

Whether you're spotting touches of clarity + mesh on pumps, skirts, or dresses the fact of the matter is: Sheer is here! It's also here + here.  Which is neither here nor there, so let's focus on what's notably right here: These Maison Martin Margiela mesh + clear perspex heeled booties tickled our notable fancy , as soon as, they took a strut down Maison Martin Margiela's easy breezy SS12 runway.  We find them to be strikingly subtle, adding a hint of quirkiness to your summer wardrobe + length to those legs you'll be baring all summer long.   We need this uniquely nudey pair ASAP!

COLOR PAIRING

Today we are emphasizing the C in CTP.  Not to forget about the TP, of course.

We tend to suffer from an extreme case of seasonal depression in the Winter, going into black on black on black mode.  Well, perhaps not extreme, but for the sake of exaggeration + this post, we'll just pretend.  Anywho, when warm weather rolls in we snap out of our gloomy (but still chic) black on black ... on black + make a complete 180 into the direction of what we here call color!  We're talking bold, beautiful color on color on color.  Now is your time to hop on the color infused denim train, if you haven't already done so.  All aboard!  Brightly hued denim is one way to kick off a color pairing party, but the options ... oOoh the options are endless.  Dare to experiment.  Crazy neons, functional neutrals + soft pastels work together, if done correctly.  So without further ado we bring to you the fun in color pairing!  Oh, and not to forget about the T + the P, of course.
